Playing Favourites: Irene V., October 9, 2012

11 Oct

Irene V., a MIA visitor, with “Birds on Branches” (c.1970s) by an unidentified artist, Nunavik, caribou antlers, stone, Sprott/MIA Collection.

Where are you from?

The Netherlands.

What brings you to MIA? Is this your first visit?

To look at all the carvings!

Why is this your favourite piece in the collection?

I especially like it because my husband carves birds. It might give him some inspiration!
