What brings you to MIA? Is this your first visit?

Yes, first visit. The cold weather brings me to MIA, I wanted to go somewhere inside. I’m interested in Canada and Inuit anyway.

Why is this your favourite piece in the collection?

MIA Visitor Maja with "Swimming Seal" (1968) by an Unidentified Artist, Kinngait (Cape Dorset), stone, MIA Collection

Where are you from?

Toronto-upper Beaches.

What brings you to MIA? Is this your first visit?

I started volunteering today at this fabulous Museum!

Why is this your favourite piece in the collection?

Seals are my favourite marine animals and this sculpture finely crafted by a mysterious artist portrays them beautifully in the Museum’s major art themes (animals) collection.
