Where are you from?

Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection

What brings you to MIA? Is this your first visit?

It’s my first visit. I’m here visiting a friend studying at U of T [the University of Toronto]. We came because we’re both interested in indigenous culture.

Why is this your favourite piece in the collection?

This piece called my attenton because it reminds me of the work of one of my favorite Catalan artists, Joan Miro. It’s expressive and have wonderful movement. Can I have it? Thanks.
