MIA visitor Dora O. with “Two Walruses” (1960) by Ousitok Ipeelee, RCA (1922-2005), Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Stone, Ivory, Private Collection on Loan to MIA

Where are you from?

Turkey/Ankara

What brings you to MIA? Is this your first visit?

This is my first time to visit MIA. I came for my older sister’s graduation and we wanted to visit museums in Toronto.

Why is this your favourite piece in the collection?

This is my favourite piece in the collection because I like animals that have cute faces. Also this artwork is interesting for me because it is made of interesting stone and has two little eyes and a small nose.
